Join us for the Boys & Girls Club night at Raley Field on Friday, August 19th!
“This is an opportunity for the young people at the Boys and Girls Club to come out and hang out and play basketball and talk to police officers in a very relaxed setting”, said Sgt. Demond Oliver.
The Bryan Police Department is celebrating this evening after a group of officers won a basketball game against teenagers from the Boys and Girls Club.
The club is now working the Menomonie’s River Heights Elementary School to supply a few staff members to help with the school’s after-school program this fall, Antonson added.
As part of that plan, the council is asking Menomonie community members to consider making a $10 pledge each month for the next five years.

It’s a tradition for students participating in the summer youth development program and Boys and Girls Club staff. The Boys and Girls Club of the Greater Chippewa Valley also operates centers in Eau Claire, Chippewa Falls, and Black River Falls.
