Clinton vows to be president for ‘all Americans’
“We have to heal the divides in our country, not just on guns, but on race, immigration and more”, she said”. But we are not afraid. “That’s why we’re here – not just in this hall, but on this earth”. “Imagine him in the Oval Office facing a real crisis”, she said.

And her take? “We heard Donald Trump’s answer last week at his convention”.
Hillary Clinton’s daughter spoke of how grateful she was to have an unbelievable role model her own children could look up to.
The New York Times put Clinton’s supporters on its cover, while USA Today used a shot of the Democratic nominee’s video appearance.
But the most rousing Clinton sales pitch came from President Obama himself.
Instead, Mr Obama described his nation as “full of courage”, “decent and generous”, but also concerned about racial divisions and “frustrated with political gridlock”.
The vice-president also paid tribute to his late son Beau Biden, who died of cancer a year ago, before declaring the 21st Century as the American century.
Sanders has a long affiliation with the party despite not being a member, with senior Democrats endorsing him when he ran for Senate in 2005. Those same polls show about 30 percent of voters view Clinton as trustworthy, even as one from Gallup showed her as the country’s most admired woman. But Clinton made a direct appeal to his backers. “Don’t believe anyone who says “I alone can fix it”,” she said. “Your cause is our cause”.

That compassion, Chelsea noted, extends to Hillary’s politics, even when times get tough.
For Clinton, the nod is the newest entry in an already packed political resume. She served as first lady when her husband, Bill Clinton, was president from 1993 to 2000.
And then it was back to warning about the dangers Trump presented.
It took Clinton more than 20 minutes before she mentioned the historic nature of her nomination as the first female nominee, but when she did the significance of the moment was not understated.
Trump, a 70-year-old NY businessman who has never held political office, is running just ahead of Clinton in a RealClearPolitics average of recent national opinion polls.
Trump has suggested reviving waterboarding against captured extremists and imposing a temporary ban on foreign Muslims entering the U.S.
She promised to work with Sanders to make college “tuition-free for the middle class”.
Clinton also said she laid out a strategy to beat ISIS.
He urged Democrats to enable Clinton to finish the job he started with his election almost eight years ago in a rousing speech that capped a night when party luminaries took to the stage to contrast the party’s new standard-bearer with Trump, whom they portrayed as a threat to United States values.
Experts told USA Today Clinton, in her Thursday speech, should mention that if she wins, she would be in the White House on August 18, 2020 – the 100th anniversary of the ratification of the Nineteenth Amendment to the Constitution.

“I treasured each and every one of those notes, they were another reminder that I was always in her thoughts and in her heart”.
