“I think it was clear last week when Ivanka introduced her dad that she’s so proud of him”, Chelsea Clinton said, discussing her plans to introduce her mother on Thursday evening when she officially accepts the Democratic nomination.

While Ivanka Trump focused largely on her father as a business leader, Chelsea Clinton focused on her mother’s spirit of service and empathy.

Speaking of Ivanka in a 2015 Vogue interview, Chelsea said: “She’s always aware of everyone around her and ensuring that everyone is enjoying the moment”. I couldn’t imagine a better grandmother for them, either.

Chelsea went on, “So it really matters to me that my mom in this election consistently has told you how she is going to do everything”. “I’m going to talk as her daughter”.

“So you and Ivanka are friendly, I know”, Glamour editor-in-chief Cindi Leiveprompted said.

“She never forgets who she’s fighting for”, said Clinton, who was only 12 when she became first daughter for the first time when Bill Clinton was sworn in as President in 1993.

WSJ?s Jason Bellini speaks to a friend of Chelsea about why the former first daughter has been avoiding the political fray.

Chelsea announced her son’s birth via Twitter just one day after the little guy was born with a super adorable pic of herself holding baby Aidan with Marc by her side – SO precious!

Chelsea talked at length about her childhood and her mother’s constant presence at soccer and softball games, piano and dance recitals and how they frequently spent Saturdays searching for shapes in the clouds and talking about dinosaurs – a childhood obsession of Chelsea’s.

Clinton advisers say that Chelsea Clinton’s influence and involvement in a prospective administration have not been given much thought.

Chelsea Clinton takes on the historic role of introducing the first woman ever nominated for president by a major political party: her mom, Hillary Clinton.

“My parents raised me to know how blessed I was, to never have to worry about food on the table, good schools to go to, a safe neighborhood to play in”. She has fully embraced being a Clinton and is now deliberately, willfully, on the road to greatness, “Vanity Fair wrote in a profile past year”.

She supported her dad, Bill Clinton, during his address, and cheered on Hillary when she made a surprise appearance via satellite from NY.
