Reports from Eurosport FR last week suggested that the 25-year-old had made a decision to leave the King Power this summer and had chosen Arsenal as his next destination following talks between Wenger and his agent Kamel Bengougam.
Arsenal have been on the hunt for an attacking option up front next season and if reports are to be believed, a deal has been done for Leicester City star, Riyad Mahrez.
The Algerian ace starred as the Foxes won the Premier League title last term, netting an incredible 17 goals, while weighing in with 11 assists.
However, he reportedly has his heart set on a move to the Emirates and will soon depart like N’Golo Kante did to Chelsea.
Leicester manager Claudio Ranieri recently warned Mahrez about the risks of joining the Gunners. The report states that the newspaper have been communicated of the story by a very reliable British journalist supposedly very close to the Arsenal set-up.
