Tim Kaine accepts Democratic vice-presidential nomination

Tim Kaine capped off one of the biggest nights of his life with a commanding speech, encouraging the delegates at the Democratic National Convention to believe in a Clinton/Kaine ticket.

“For my friend Hillary Clinton, I humbly accept my party’s nomination to be vice president of the United States”, he said.

Former Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley, who unsuccessfully sought the Democratic nomination, said Kaine had brought his beliefs in Catholic social justice to his public service, something he has practiced throughout his career.

He concluded by saying Clinton is the opposite of Trump – she’s “lista”, or “ready” in Spanish.

‘Donald Trump has a passion too – it’s himself.

Kean’s son, a New Jersey state senator, said the flub was a minor issue.

“My journey has convinced me that God has created a rich tapestry in this country – an incredible cultural diversity that succeeds when we embrace everyone in love and battle back against the dark forces of division”.

“Believe me? Here’s the thing”.

Kaine later went on to run for city council in what he called a “divided and discouraged” city of Richmond, Virginia, where he said gun violence overwhelmed low-income neighborhoods, and “people were casting blames and finding answers”.

“He never tells you how he’s going to do any of the things he says he’s going to do”. CNN found 48 percent of voters saying they haven’t heard of him or don’t know enough to have an opinion.

Former President Clinton outlined his wife’s life work in his keynote speech Tuesday night. “So here’s the question”.

Just as he did with “Little Marco”, “Lyin’ Ted” and “Crooked Hillary”, Trump wasted no time coming up with a nickname for the Democratic VP nominee: “Corrupt Kaine”.

Kaine bashed the GOP nominee over Trump University and his companies’ bankruptcies when he owned Atlantic City casinos from 1984 to 2009.

“Folks, you can not believe one word that comes out of Donald Trump’s mouth”.

Clinton offered a list of policy proposals that she would push for as president, including taxing the superrich to pay for a multi-billion-dollar infrastructure spending plan and college tuition relief. Running arm-in arm with President Obama in 2012, Kaine was swept into office, outperforming the President in Virginia. He rallied the Wells Fargo Center crowd by speaking in Spanish. “Si se puede!” audience members responded.

Kaine, who has never lost an election, is well liked by colleagues. Bernie Sanders, but it came after a full roll call vote and the roll call tally will still be recorded in the official record.

The unlikely star of Day 3 of the US Democratic National Convention was Tim Kaine. Who?

“Many of us were offended by him as a choice. And that’s what Hillary Clinton is about”, she said. “We wanted to stop the TPP”.

“Tonight’s speech was merely a litany of platitudes which dodged a serious discussion of our slumping economy and our diminished standing in the world under President Obama, topics which should be well-known to her after spending years in his cabinet”, Priebus said. And yet he still says, ‘Believe me.

When the convention moved to nominate Kaine on Wednesday afternoon, many in the California delegation booed and held signs opposing TPP and calling for a roll call vote.

“Many great Americans are talented … and it happens also they are Latino”.

Palomarez said he waved him off because he already knew Kaine’s record. He said he took heed of the motto “men for others”.

In true form, the denizens of the Internet duly responded to Kaine’s address.

Kaine then went out and canvassed a neighborhood for the Clinton campaign, just like the other volunteers, DiSalvo said.

“But he’s voting for a lot of Democrats these days. Not one word”, Kaine said, briefly starting a chant of “not one word”. That’s what Joe Biden is about.
