CHELSEA, Conte: “Matic is important for me”
Antonio Conte has ruled out the possibility of Chelsea selling Nemanja Matic to his predecessor Jose Mourinho. I think he [Conte] is going to be good for the team and the players are noticing some changes, and now we have to put into practice what he is asking us.

The Italian said: “I want to continue in this way because this is the only way to come back very soon for the title, not to speak, but with actions”.
As he looks to reinvent the Chelsea side, Conte hinted at introducing a new series of tactics while warning that the system he used to great success at Juventus might not fit at to Stamford Bridge.
The new Chelsea manager fielded an ambitious 4-2-4 formation as the Blues beat Liverpool 1-0 in a pre-season friendly, with Moses and Willian starting as the wide men.
Asked we his thoughts were on giving youngsters a chance, he told ESPN FC: “Yeah, it’s important”. Because Chelsea has a fantastic academy. “There are many players with a good prospect for Chelsea”, he said.
“I was pleased with my team because I saw the right spirit and a lot of positive things, but I know and my players know that we can improve a lot”.
In any case, we’ve got a nifty list of THREE stars Chelsea could sign from German super club, Borussia Dortmund…
“It’s important, also, that the young players must show to play in the first team. I’m sure this team will improve with him”.
“We all work on that goal [to be a regular in Antonio Conte’s team], I have to train well and strong and let’s see what God wants”, he is quoted as saying by the Evening Standard. For example, [Paul] Pogba.

Inter Milan have also shown interest but Conte, who once tried to sign him from Fiorentina when he was Juventus boss, wants to keep the 28-year-old in London.
