He said Majithia made the whole Punjab addicted to drugs and now he is trying to frighten us by filling such cases.
“Akalis have turned Punjab, which used to be a flourishing state into hub of drugs to ruin youth”.
Kejriwal called the Revenue Minister Bikramjit Majithia a “Drug Lord” in-spite of the fact that, the Delhi CM was in Amritsar, for the hearing of a defamation case on the same issue. “If they can file a false case against me, I can imagine, what they would have done with the people of Punjab”, he said. The matter would be next heard on October 15.
The Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate’s court had summoned Kejriwal and the other leaders to appear before it to respond to the defamation case filed by Majithia.
Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will go to Nagpur to attend a 10-day vipassana session in first week of August.
The court has fixed October 15 as the next date for hearing.
