Trump plays down call for Russian espionage but praises Putin again

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is a fraud, a liar and a hypocrite, top Democratic leaders and speakers at the party’s national convention said today as they lashed out at the billionaire from NY.

A Trump campaign communications adviser, Jason Miller, said on Twitter that Trump never urged or invited Russian Federation to hack Clinton’s emails.

The DNC emails showed party leaders favouring Clinton over her rival in the campaign for the nomination, Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont.

After severe blowback from all sides Wednesday, Donald Trump took to Fox News Thursday morning in the 6 AM hour to try to fix his call on Russian Federation to hack Hillary Clinton’s email account. “I think you’ll be rewarded mightily by our press”.

Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL), who will step down as chair of the Democratic National Committee following the convention, will no longer gavel in the convention on Monday, the Sun Sentinel reported.

They also blasted what they called “Mr. Trump’s own disturbing affinity” for Russia’s President Vladimir Putin.

Mr Trump’s explanation echoed those of his campaign advisers and other supporters, who immediately tried to pass his comments off as tongue-in-cheek and not serious.

Overall, 40% of Americans think that Trump is too friendly towards Russian Federation, while 27% think that his current stance is about right.

Russia has accused the candidates of stirring up anti-Russian sentiment. But Democrats aren’t likely to let the Republican presidential nominee’s extraordinary comments simply fade away.

Former New York mayor Michael Bloomberg said: “I am a New Yorker, and I know a con when I see one!” to loud cheers from the audience. “But you have 33,000 emails deleted, and the real problem is what was said on those emails from the Democratic National Committee”.

“He was joking around”, Giuliani told CNN. She was referring to the Democratic National Convention, which will be held in Philadelphia from Monday through Thursday this week. That’s not hyperbole, those are just the facts. “This has gone from being a matter of curiosity, and a matter of politics, to being a national security issue”. “Mr. Assange made it very clear when he dumped the first 20,000 that he was explicitly trying to help elect Donald Trump and damage Hillary Clinton”.

The FBI recommended not to bring criminal charges against Clinton earlier this month.

Democrats and some Republicans quickly condemned Trump’s remarks. Trump did not directly respond except to say, “That’s up to the president”.
