Obama to stress Clinton’s judgment
For Clinton, the stakes are enormous.

When she formally accepts it on Thursday, she will become the Democratic standard-bearer against Republican nominee Trump in the November 8 election. “He calls himself a business guy, which is true, but I have to say, I know plenty of businessmen and women who’ve achieved success without leaving a trail of lawsuits, and unpaid workers, and people feeling like they got cheated”. “I see Americans of every party, every background, every faith who believe that we are stronger together – black, white, Latino, Asian, Native American, young, old, gay, straight, men, women, folks with disabilities all pledging allegiance under the same proud flag to this great, bold country that we love”. In an earlier statement, he accused Democrats of living in a “fantasy world”, ignoring economic and security troubles as well as Clinton’s controversial email use at the State Department.
Trump, who has never held public office, offered his critics fresh lines of attack on Wednesday, urging Russian Federation to find and release tens of thousands of emails that Clinton did not hand over to US officials as part of a probe into her use of a private email system while she was secretary of state.
And while he acknowledged Clinton’s weaknesses and mistakes he attributed it to her being under a microscope from 40 years in the public eye.
“Hillary Clinton is “lista”, said Kaine, a former Richmond mayor and Virginia governor who speaks fluent Spanish.
“As someone who was responsible for protecting our nation from cyber-attacks, it is inconceivable to me that any presidential candidate would be that irresponsible”, said former Central Intelligence Agency director Leon Panetta. The country’s first African American president embraced the first woman to be nominated by a major party for president of the United States. She will be introduced by her daughter, Chelsea Clinton.
Speaking at the Bloomberg Politics breakfast on Tuesday, Mr. Sanders also said the resignation of Debbie Wasserman Schultz as chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee doesn’t go far enough in fixing the situation and that more staff members need to leave following embarrassing disclosures of thousands of internal emails.
“She’s been there for us, even if we haven’t always noticed”.
Hillary is tough, Hillary is courageous, she will fight to make our families safer.
Speakers on Wednesday assailed Trump. Gabby Giffords and former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, to Vice President Joe Biden and Vice Presidential nominee Tim Kaine.
Ret. Marine General John R. Allen, a former commander in Afghanistan, will underscore the same point.
And with continued protests both outside and inside the convention hall by disaffected Bernie Sanders supporters, Obama also took a stab at party unity.
And General John Allen, former commander of United States forces in Afghanistan, appeared on stage with other military veterans and gave Clinton a ringing endorsement as commander-in-chief. He robustly vouched for Clinton’s readiness to finish the job he started, saying “no matter how daunting the odds, no matter how much people try to knock her down, she never, ever quits”. Trump has said he was being sarcastic.

Clinton and Kaine will attend a rally Saturday night, two days after the convention concludes, at Youngstown’s East High School.
