Menendez: Trump’s Russia hacking comments ‘act of treason’
They came as the Democrats met on the third day of their national convention in Philadelphia, where Clinton will accept the presidential nomination Thursday night to face Republican Trump in November. A cybersecurity firm they hired, CrowdStrike Inc., found traces of at least two sophisticated hacking groups on the DNC’s network. The first happened in mid-2015 and the second was earlier in April.

Trump’s campaign staff have said he never explicitly invited anyone to hack Clinton, and that his comments were merely an invitation to produce 32,000 emails that she deleted during an investigation into her use of the private server.
Most Clinton supporters didn’t take major issue with the content of the emails that got some Sanders backers so angry. It’s been employed repeatedly: The Obama administration has publicly blamed North Korea for the hack of Sony Pictures Entertainment and filed criminal charges against five Chinese military officials it accused of siphoning corporate secrets and against Iranian hackers it accused of digital attacks on a NY dam.
“However”, he said, “Trump’s comment is only half of the story”. The same hacker set up a website June 15 and a Twitter account June 20.
“We can not imagine them sitting in the pub, drinking beer, or vodka, or whiskey or whatever”, he said of Clinton and Putin.
If the tone from speakers at the DNC was severe, the sampling of delegates and attendees that I talked to on Wednesday were resigned to Trump saying whatever he wants with essentially no backlash.
Then again, all the silly media attention to what Trump said about Russian Federation and Hillary’s emails did suck all the air out of Hillary’s “historic” nomination the night before. “Who knows who it is”. Bob Menendez said Thursday that Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump’s comments about Russian Federation exposing Hillary Clinton’s emails are an “act of treason”.
The former first lady, USA senator and secretary of state on Thursday will step out of the shadows of presidents past and present for her moment to convince Americans that she is the best choice to helm a nation looking for a new era of leadership. “And as a country, we must defeat Donald Trump”. “The persona is a Russia-controlled platform that can act as a censored hacktivist”, the company wrote.
According to Simon Maloy of liberal Salon.com, Donald Trump “explicitly asked Russian Federation to violate our national security”. He said the company had been thorough tying malicious code from the DNC hack to samples previously used by the suspected hackers, and correlating programming features and other indicators.
“I think that I would probably get along with him very well”.
“I think he’s done really a great job of outsmarting our country”, Trump told Larry King after Putin successfully dissuaded the US from striking Syria by arranging with the USA for the removal of Syria’s chemical weapons.
Q: Who is Guccifer 2.0? He claimed he had inspired North Atlantic Treaty Organisation to begin focusing on terrorism; the alliance was heading in that direction long before Trump opened his mouth. His name is a rip-off of another hacker, Marcel Lehel Lazar of Romania, who called himself Guccifer and pleaded guilty to hacking charges in May in U.S. District Court in Virginia.
He evoked Ronald Reagan, a move that drew criticism from Clinton when they were rivals, to contrast the Republican icon’s vision of America as “shining city on a hill” with Trump’s description of the U.S.as “a divided crime scene”. Lazar is expected to be sentenced to prison September 1. “Yes, let’s promote state-sponsored terrorism”, sighed Stacey Anderson, a Hillary Clinton supporter and delegate from Montana. She pointed at the man who denied her the White House eight years ago, smiled wide and gave him a hug. “We never identity our sources”, it wrote Wednesday in a tweet.
“A treaty is supposed to be a promise that should be enforced”, he said. He has also declined to say how WikiLeaks got the documents and would not say whether Guccifer 2.0 was involved. He added that the US knows that “Russians hack our systems – not just government systems, but private systems”.
Paul Manafort tells “Fox & Friends” on Friday that, “if it’s midnight in America, it’s because of seven-and-a-half years of the Obama-Clinton administration”.
Despite souring ties between Washington and Moscow, pointing the finger at Russian Federation for cyber hacking isn’t as simple as blaming North Korea.

President Barack Obama’s decision to identify Russian Federation as nearly certainly the culprit in hacking the Democratic National Committee and releasing politically embarrassing emails fits his administration’s new penchant for openly blaming foreign governments for such break-ins.
