President Barack Obama painted an optimistic picture of America’s future in a rousing speech on Wednesday that offered full-hearted support to Hillary Clinton in her campaign to defeat Republican Donald Trump and become the first woman elected US president. He has no clue what makes America great.

But this speech on Wednesday was not the real beginning of what should have been Joe Biden’s fight against Donald Trump.

Making a strong pitch for Hillary Clinton, the Democratic presidential nominee, Biden said the U.S. cannot elect a man who exploits fears of IS and other terrorists.

President Obama addressed the Democratic Party during the third night of the Democratic National Convention and announced his endorsement once again for former secretary of state Hillary Clinton for
president.

Trump “embraces the tactics of our enemies”, Biden said, while he “belittles our closest allies while embracing dictators like Vladimir Putin”. “His lack of empathy and compassion can be summed up in a phrase I suspect he is proud of having made famous: ‘You’re fired.’ I mean really, I’m not joking… think about that”. “Give me a break!”

“If you’re serious about our democracy, you can’t afford to stay home just because she might not align with you on every issue”, the president said.

“Everybody knows she is smart”, Biden said.

After Obama’s speech, Clinton, the Democratic presidential nominee, took the stage with him in a surprise appearance. “Not a clue”, Biden said.

He continued, “When the middle class does well, the rich do very well and the poor have hope. It’s never, never, never been a good bet to bet against America“, he said. That’s not who we are, it betrays our values.

Biden then went to emphasise things that Trump was clueless about, saying “Actually, he has no clue, period”. We simply cannot let that happen as Americans.

“I am more optimistic about the future of America than ever before”, Obama said at the Wells Fargo Center, a basketball and hockey arena. Everybody knows she’s tough But I know what she’s passionate about. “He calls himself a business guy, which is true, but I have to say I know plenty of business men and women who’ve achieved remarkable success without leaving a trail of lawsuits and unpaid workers and people feeling like they got cheated”.

– Vice President Joe Biden will also make an appearance.

Hillary Clinton appeared on stage following the Presidents speech.

Biden said that in the “complicated and uncertain world we live in”, Trump is the first major party nominee to have known less or be less prepared to deal with national security. On Wednesday night, the independent Bloomberg left no doubt about where he stands right now he’s with Hillary Clinton.

So if you agree that there’s too much inequality in our economy, and too much money in our politics, we all need to be as vocal and as organized and as persistent as Bernie Sanders’ supporters have been.
