Toronto Police say it appears the people who killed him were waiting for him in Midland Park.
The victim, believed to be in his 20s, was found at about 10:30 p.m.
Paramedics said the victim was found without vital signs and suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Police said in a press release that the suspect is male, black, between 20 and 25 years old, with a thin build.
“He seemed like he was passing out. He just seemed gone”, the man said.
“We believe Mr. Morgan’s friends know the reason for the shooting”.
“This was a cowardly attack that took place in a highly populated residential neighbourhood”, Worden said. He was wearing grey or light-coloured track trousers, a grey or white striped shirt and white running shoes. He was last seen wearing grey or light coloured, long track trousers that were falling off him as he was running and a grey and white striped shirt with white running shoes.
Witnesses were not able to provide a clear description of the second possible suspect, Worden said.
