I’ve had time to go through my progressions and make my decisions.

Notes: Mariota finished Thursday completing 11 of his 17 passes, and the Heisman Trophy victor now has six practices at training camp without having a pass intercepted.
In Nashville, the Tennessee Titans are looking for any reason to turn hype into hope, and second pick Marcus Mariota has been providing just that in the first week of NFL Training Camp.
After taking in the practice session, King said he might have to reconsider the ranking, and said that “the receivers were big, and you won’t have to worry about being 32nd with him” as he was pointing to Marcus Mariota. “I would rather him to go without a interception for the entire camp, if he can continue that throughout the season”, said Titans defensive tackle Jurrell Casey said. He missed all four passes in one team drill that included overthrowing Harry Douglas at the sideline and missing tight end Craig Stevens after being bumped by running back Bishop Sankey in the pocket.
Tennessee Titans rookie quarterback Marcus Mariota (8) runs through a drill with quarterbacks Charli … This unit picked off 12 passes and ranked tied for 21st in the league in 2014. The Titans signed Brian Orakpo to bolster their pass rush and they also signed Da’Norris Searcy and Perrish Cox to help their secondary and they have a promising inside linebacker in Avery Williamson.
Cornerback Blidi Wreh-Wilson said the defense has been reminded that no one has intercepted Mariota just yet.
“It’s just being smart with the football and making good decisions”, Mariota said. An impressive feat, considering he’s a rookie QB facing a defense coached by Dick LeBeau – the inventor of the zone blitz scheme – who likes to hide and mix pressures. “His poise, his command – he’s not looked like a rookie”.

Warner added, “I think you’re seeing a kid that’s much further along than definitely I would have expected him to be coming from where he was, and much further along than where most people expected him to be”. So all of this that hes getting I think is great work, its valuable, and Ive been pleased with how hes handled it.. Coach Ken Whisenhunt said the veteran going into his 10th season is a tough man. Whisenhunt said the Titans haven’t talked about Mariota’s camp streak, though he didn’t know if it’s a topic among the players. DL Ropati Pitoitua and CB Jason McCourty had the day off for rest, and TE Delanie Walker (cut thumb) also was out. In the locker room, Walker’s left thumb was bandaged and taped. Whisenhunt said Bell hurt his jaw after being hit from the side.
