Wasserman Schultz heckled at Florida delegation DNC breakfast as opponents shout, ‘shame!’
After resigning under pressure as Democratic National Committee chairwoman and being booed and jeered by protesters at a delegate breakfast from her home state of Florida, Debbie Wasserman Schultz conceded today that it’s been “a hard week”.

“My campaign election lawyers are investigating these circumstances and preparing a complaint against Wasserman Schultz with the Federal Election Commission”, Canova said.
Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz to step down on Sunday after email leaks showed officials attempting to aid Hillary Clinton’s campaign in the party’s primary. Now, Wasserman Schultz is on her way out, after the publication of emails that suggest Democratic officials favored Hillary Clinton over Bernie Sanders during the nominating contests. Many held signs with the word “Emails” on them as some of the delegates yelled “Shame!”
Wasserman Schultz has agreed to step down as chair at the end of this week’s DNC in Philadelphia.
Although Brazile has contributed to presidential bids by Jesse Jackson, Walter Mondale and Dick Gephardt, she is noted as being the first African-American to run a presidential campaign, for then-Vice President Al Gore in 2000.
Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump speaks to an audience at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Va. on January 18, 2016. Now, it looks like Democrats will have the same struggle through the course of the week. “The Dems convention is cracking up”, he taunted on Twitter.
Another email doesn’t name Sanders but pitches the idea of getting reporters to ask someone of “Jewish heritage” about whether he’s an atheist which could hurt him in a couple states.
“I think the allegations, the emails, the insensitivity, the stupidity needs to be addressed, and we are going to address it”, she said.
“I think we would have had Bernie Sanders for President”.
“We knew they were stacking the deck against Bernie from the get-go, but this type of stuff coming out is outrageous”, he said.
Sanders has endorsed Clinton, but his delegates are pushing for a state-by-state tally.
We aren’t sure that’s where the emails came from, but a high profile hack before a high profile info dump leaves room for this argument.
In a written statement, the controversial party leader said she was “privileged to serve as the DNC Chair for five and a half years”.
Clinton supporter, former DNC Chair and Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe called the leak “very disturbing” if true and told NPR that the chair’s job should be “to remain neutral”. Others want to focus on the platform and the future, rather than these leadership issues.

In the second quarter, Canova outraised Wasserman Schultz. “Her leadership of the DNC has meant that we had someone who brought Democrats together not just for my re-election campaign, but for accomplishing the shared goals we have had for our country”.
