Melania Trump‘s professional website has disappeared from the internet – just as her educational background has come under intense scrutiny.

An unauthorized biography entitled “Melania Trump: The Inside Story”, asserts that Trump left school only a year after enrolling in order to pursue her budding modeling career.
As CNN reports, It is still to be confirmed that what prompted the website’s removal.
The Inside Story’s authors said that Trump and his aides embellished Melania’s biography to make her seem more educated and accomplished. While no one, including Melania, has commented on the suggestion of a padded biography, it appears as though the suspicion was enough to have the website deleted in its entirety.
The biographers, Slovenian journalists Bojan Pozar and Igor Omerza, claim the Trump team were “desperate” to give the impression the Slovenian-born Mrs Trump was smart.
The website confusion follows accusations Ms Trump copied parts of her speech made at the Republican National Convention from a 2008 speech by Michelle Obama, the current first lady.
Melania Trump later tweeted that she had removed her site because it was out of date.
McIver said she offered her resignation to the Republican presidential nominee, but was rejected.
Currently, MelaniaTrump.com redirects to Donald Trump’s main webpage. Melania’s online biography, however, insisted that she completed the degree in design and architecture.

While the Democratic National Convention was in the nation’s political spotlight last night, something odd seemed to have happened to Melania Trump’s website – it disappeared. And as Julia Ioffe reported in GQ, “Melania decamped to Milan after her first year of college, effectively dropping out”.
