President Barack Obama on Wednesday night at the Democratic National Convention said progressive policies can make a positive impact on democracy.

“You can not believe one word that comes out Donald Trump’s mouth”, Kaine continued to the crowd, prompting them to chant along with him.
“I think she picked somebody who’s a lot like Joe Biden, who’s a nice complement, sort of a soft, easy-going kind of guy”, Gelb, 60, said. ‘Believe me, ‘ ” Kaine said. We are going to build a wall and make Mexico pay, believe me. We’re gonna defeat ISIS so fast, believe me.
In his acceptance speech, the 58-year-old senator from the battleground state of Virginia, mocked the 70-year-old reality TV star’s often cited remarks “believe me”, amid applause from the audience.
During his address, Kaine shared things about himself, his family and his faith – not to mention a Senate secret. He also spent working with missionaries in Honduras.
“Hillary has a passion for kids and families”, he said. “Because what “listo” means in Spanish is this: it means prepared, it means battle-tested, it means rock-solid, up for anything, never backing down”.

Trump has slammed both Clinton and Kaine for their past support of the TPP deal and insisted that Clinton will ultimately approve the deal after passing minor changes.
Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe, D, sat in the front row, smiling broadly and waving a sign. Her father, Linwood Holton, was the Republican governor of Virginia (1970-1974).
“We better elect the candidate who’s proven she can be trusted with the job”, he said.

This is precisely the approach that certain critics of the Democratic National Committee’s “Dangerous Donald” narrative have called for: mockery, derision. The new ticket is then planning to embark on a three-day bus trip through the battleground states of Pennsylvania and Ohio.
