Donald Trump blames Hillary Clinton for ‘unleashing Isis’
“We are clear-eyed about what our country is up against. But we are not afraid”, she said.

While part of the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia celebrated the record of the Obama administration, and the platform adopted there included many similar policies, Republicans have sought to negatively cast a Clinton presidency as essentially another term for Obama. The statement says Clinton’s remarks were “delivered from a fantasy universe, not the reality we live in today”.
But Mrs Clinton said Democrats had not done a good enough job of showing working families that they understood what they were going through and said she agreed with families who have told her the economy was not working. Clinton, she said, just hasn’t been a positive for black Americans.
“I am so exhausted by it”, said Danielle Adams, a black Clinton delegate from North Carolina.
While her speech was not as electrifying as those given by President Barack Obama and some other prominent Democrats at the Philadelphia convention, Mrs Clinton was authoritative and self-assured in her pitch to the American public.
“If you believe that every man, woman, and child in America has the right to affordable health care -join us!”.
“I would still classify myself as a Bernie Sanders supporter but her speech tonight, and looking at some of the negativity you saw surrounding the protests tonight, I am looking toward the general election and I’ll definitely be supporting Hillary”, Workman said. “The family I’m from, well no one had their name on big buildings”, Mrs Clinton said in a reference to Mr Trump, whose name is plastered across his properties.
“I think here at the convention, it’s been exacerbated by the way they are treating people”, she said.
On Thursday, people familiar with the matter said the FBI is investigating a cyber attack against another Democratic Party group, which may be related to the earlier hack against the DNC. “We were friends before this election, we’ll be friends after this election”. “Even non-African-Americans are afraid of Donald Trump, not just pro-Hillary people”. She acknowledged his inspiring campaign and, more significantly, she brought up the issues he’s championed: “I want you to know, I’ve heard you”. “Your cause is our cause”.
Clinton’s husband, former president Bill Clinton, got a kick out of it.
Delegates chanting United States of America, victims of the 9/11 attacks highlighted, the families of murdered cops taking the stage-it seemed like back to the future as Democrats appropriated the symbols that Republicans once owned.
For many, including Clinton herself, it was like seeing snow for the first time..
“America is once again at a moment of reckoning”.

Another speaker, Doug Elmets, a Republican and former aide in the Reagan White House, said that in November he will vote for a Democrat for the first time. “No wonder people are anxious and looking for reassurance – looking for steady leadership”.
