Arsenal boss Wenger: Wilshere will get beyond injury woes
Arsene Wenger believes Jack Wilshere’s playing style has a significant part to play in the number of injuries he accrues over the course of a season.

And having been given an extended break this summer after helping Chile lift the Copa America, returning to training this week, Wenger says he will observe the Alexis’ progress before deciding if he will feature on Sunday.
The 23-year-old recently picked up an ankle injury, meaning he will miss the beginning of the season.
But Wilshere was told that he has only a small hairline fracture of his fibula, which he suffered in an innocuous challenge with Brazilian defender Gabriel in a light training session ahead of the Community Shield win over Chelsea a week ago. “His ankle is perfectly alright”. The news we got yesterday is it could be much shorted than expected.
Jack Wilshere has been assured that he will be ready for action in four weeks’ time.
Wenger has previously discussed Wilshere’s difficulty to deal with a succession of injuries that have blighted his young career, but his psychological state after this latest setback is not an area of concern for the Arsenal boss. “‘But we don” t rule out as well if something exceptional turns up to do it’. “You can never get used that [injuries]”.
“Sometimes it is a game that provokes maybe more challenges than Gilberto Silva who just sat there deep and played, or Mesut Ozil who plays less dribbling”, said Wenger, as quoted by the Mirror. He came back in good fitness shape so that is quite positive, but I am not surprised by that because I can’t imagine him lying around for four weeks and doing nothing.
