And Trump, speaking the end of a week dedicated to unifying the party, once again revived the conspiracy theory published in the National Enquirer that linked Cruz’s father to John F. Kennedy assassin Lee Harvey Oswald – an accusation that has no evidence behind it. That’s not a democracy, my friends!’ she proclaimed at a rally in Tampa, Florida.
“I think it was very bad”, Christie said.
“I will not malign, I will not insult, this is not a game”. “The problems we face now – poverty and violence at home, war and destruction overseas – will last only as long as we continue relying on the same politicians who created them”. “We have not abandoned who we are in this country. On Thursday morning, a defiant Cruz continued to ratchet up his war against Trump, declaring that he would not grovel “like a servile puppy.” On Tuesday, the delegation saw their votes go to Trump, not Cruz, because of a state party rule. I feel so badly.
The ugly and highly personal feud between the top two finishers in the Republican primaries, dormant since Cruz ended his campaign in early May, reignited in dramatic fashion Wednesday at a convention meant to heal the bruised party. He predicted that Texans won’t forget Cruz turning his back on the party’s nominee.
Bernie Sanders said on Twitter, ‘Maybe he doesn’t understand that a president has to work with Congress’.
“I don’t think he speaks for working families who would be devastated by his reckless policies”.
