Jason Bourne review: Action hero back for more mayhem

Set in the post-Edward Snowden and WikiLeaks era, it has Jason Bourne (Damon) resurfacing after nearly 10 years off the grid to a world where people’s freedom and privacy have been eroded away by a secretive United States government which is even more hell-bent on controlling and monitoring everyone’s move and cyber footprint without their knowledge. That would easily best the $38.1 million opening of the last film in the spy action series, The Bourne Legacy, which starred Jeremy Renner, but comes behind the $69 million debut of The Bourne Ultimatum, featuring Damon.

Then he was a pretty boy, a solid actor in dramas who was balancing being part of Kevin Smith’s entourage and a member of the modern Rat Pack. Bourne series gonna be hit as Matt Damon is present here in the film with the leading role in the film.

With David Webb back, what better time to take a look over his whole career and pick out some of the highlights (and some that you just have to hope he got a bloody good payday for)? It could make this group of people write an entire blog post arguing the exact opposite just to prove a point.
