The best moments from Hillary Clinton’s DNC speech
“So let me tell you”, Ms. Clinton said before she went on to explain her life, struggles and successes.

The Democratic Party’s candidate is also deeply unpopular with some of the US public.
This Thursday in Philadelphia, 33.3. million viewers saw Hillary Clinton give her historic speech as the first woman nominated for president by a major party, according to preliminary results.
Hillary Clinton talks about unity, about E Pluribus Unum, but her globalist agenda denies American citizens the protections to which they are all entitled – tearing us apart.
Donald Trump used Twitter, as per his habit, to respond to Hillary Clinton’s acceptance speech on Thursday night. “I know this because I served with her”, John Allen, who was commander in Afghanistan, said. Clinton is a striver, and that’s a core value she brings to whatever she undertakes.
“It’s not so much that I’m on the ticket, it’s because of the stark choice that’s posed to Americans in this election”, she said.
“Hillary’s refusal to mention radical Islam, as she pushes a 550% increase in refugees, is more proof that she is unfit to lead the country”.
It was also a chance to hear a man wholeheartedly supporting his wife’s career goal of becoming arguably the most powerful woman on the planet.
Tim Kaine (l.) and Hillary Clinton teed off on Trump Friday in their first stump since the conclusion of this week’s Democratic National Convention.
Chelsea, 36, painted a picture of what it was like to have the former secretary of state, 68, by her side growing up. But Sanders helped squash some of the unrest by endorsing Clinton in a rousing speech on Monday and, later during roll call, asking that all his delegates be allocated to his one-time political rival.
Very average! Moments later, Trump reiterated his view that Clinton’s speech was solidly mediocre. He mostly left Trump alone, and instead recounted his courtship of Hillary, but notably, never directly referencing his marital troubles.
“Now I know some of you are sitting at home thinking, well that all sounds pretty good”. How do you square it?
She would’ve been better off using other people’s stories for an emotionally-laden pitch for any one of several policies she’s embraced over the course of this presidential run.
“For the first time, perhaps, since Vietnam, the Democratic Party is now the party of national security expertise”, he argues.
“The Washington Post says Clinton isn’t telling the truth”. The problem that Clinton had last night is she can’t hide from 25 years’. She could have pulled out a particularly touching story about a Syrian refugee family to emotionally shame Trump and his supporters who are slamming her proposal to allow so many more Syrian immigrants into the country.
She told supporters in a West Philadelphia arena the coming election is the most important one in her lifetime.

The stakes are high: A loss to Trump would not only end Clinton’s political career, it could be a devastating coda to her and her husband’s political legacy and leave the Democratic Party weaker than it has been in a generation.
