Instead of going to law school as he intended, their son Humayun made a decision to enlist in the U.S. Army, where he eventually became a captain. His late son, Capt. Humayun S.M. Khan, was a University of Virginia graduate who enlisted in the U.S. Army after September 11 and died in Iraq protecting his troops. “If it was up to Donald Trump, he never would have been in America”.
“Let me ask you, have you even read the U.S. Constitution?”
“I will gladly lend you my copy”, he said, taking a small copy of the constitution from his pocket. Khan called the Republican nominee “a divider” and said that if Trump’s policies were enacted, his son, who died to save fellow soldiers, wouldn’t have even been in America.
Humayun S.M. Khan, 27, was killed in Iraq in 2004 when he walked toward a auto loaded with explosives. In this document, look for the words liberty and equal protection of law, ” he said, as the crowd broke into chants of “USA!
“Have you ever been to Arlington cemetery?” he demanded, as many in the audience were moved to tears. We believed in American democracy.
He told Trump to go to Arlington and look at the graves of soldiers of all faiths, crying out, “You have sacrificed nothing!” He disrespects other minorities, women, judges, and even his own party leadership. Khan says he is a devoted, patriotic American, and a Muslim. “You have sacrificed nothing”, he said of Trump.
“We can not solve our problems by building walls, sowing division”, Khan said. “And we will keep getting stronger when Hillary Clinton becomes our next president”.
