Arizona League Of Women Voters Reflects On Clinton Nomination As ‘Historic’ Moment

Americans can’t deny that this situation is unusual.

Turning Republican attacks on their head, Clinton offered a tacit admission that his wife was part of the political scenery and that she was not always as flashy, or such a gifted orator, as other politicians.

I agree with this statement. We have the most powerful military. It’s not feminism, it’s life as we
know it.

As it stands, Australian women are paid 17.9 per cent less than men for doing exactly the same job – something that many say is just ridiculous and wrong in this day and age.

Ann Henry, the woman who hosted Bill and Hillary Clinton’s wedding reception, also journeyed to Philadelphia to celebrate the historic milestone. “This has been a really big deal for me”. “It’s a very positive thing and I do hope that the election will be decided on the issues, rather than on gender and personality”. Her heartfelt endorsement of Clinton is termed as the best speech of the First Lady in her eight years in the White House. “That’s the future we’re working toward”, she continued.

On the opposite spectrum, take Michelle Obama. “She sure has”, he joked. He spoke of her political conversion from the party of her youth: “Her support for civil rights and her opposition to the Vietnam War compelled her to change parties and become a Democrat”. But she could also assume the role as mother to every single child on this planet.

As for illegal immigrants, she wants to put them to work – not deport them.

(Hillary’s) not known for giving great speeches to large crowds; (the convention speech) is not her typical audience or her forte. Millions of Americans see through the bogus anti-Hillary frames and will show up to vote for her with passion and enthusiasm.

Last week, Donald Trump accepted the GOP’s nomination for president.

The newspapers were quick to defend themselves, citing deadlines, as in the case of a Wall Street Journal reporter who pointed out that a later edition of their paper did in fact include an image of Hillary. And neither for Bill, although his speech tried to highlight her humanity via stories of forgotten times, it’s going to be hard to break through the tough-politician façade that she’s assumed for all these years.

Clinton haters, and there are a lot of them, no doubt hated the speech. As Bill gets to know Hillary, he quickly realizes that the qualities that made her seem intimidating and out of reach were actually qualities that made her more human: They stemmed from an unquenchable drive to get things done and an impatience with those who weren’t as committed to productive social change.
