His last rites will take place on Saturday afternoon at Worli. Reportedly, the doctors were about to do a bone marrow transplantation for him but unfortunately, it went on in vain. Filmmaker Sooraj Barjatya’s cousin, he was also the brainchild behind the production house’s progress in digital media and was touted to be responsible for Rajshri’s business gains. Blockbusters like Maine Pyar Kiya, Hum Aape Hain Kaun and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo were co-produced by Barjatya. Rajjat was one of the brilliant brains of the industry. Rajshri media credits itself on providing some of the best TV shows and presenting amazingly good family content for the fans. He himself created a progressive approach in the digital medium for Rajshri as he believed digital to be the biggest platform to thrive.
Rajshri Productions was founded by Sooraj and Rajjat’s grandfather Tarachand Barjatya. On his death, many celebrities including superstar Salman Khan took to Twitter to mourn it.
Nothing shakes you up more than when someone your age dies.
