Bernie supporters in Philly say they’re voting Trump
As she prepared to deliver her speech, people familiar with the matter said the FBI is investigating a cyber attack against another Democratic Party group, which may be related to an earlier hack against the Democratic National Committee. Donald Trump denounced her convention speech as “full of lies” and said he’s starting to agree with those calling for Clinton to be locked up.

Clinton went through a list of ideals, which could garner support from both sides of the aisle, and then made a simple proposition: If you agree with these things, I’m your candidate.
The idea that those who backed Sanders would flip over to supporting Trump is laughable to anyone who knows anything about the Sanders campaign and what they are fighting for. “From Baghdad and Kabul, to Nice and Paris and Brussels, to San Bernardino and Orlando, we’re dealing with determined enemies that must be defeated”, she said.
The stakes are high: A loss to Mr Trump would not only end Ms Clinton’s political career, it could be a devastating coda to her and her husband’s political legacy and leave the Democratic Party weaker than it has been in a generation.
“He’s taken the Republican Party a long way, from Morning in America to Midnight in America”, she said with a nod to the Reagan campaign slogan of 1984 as chants of “Hillary, Hillary” broke out repeatedly throughout her primetime speech. “That’s why when there are no ceilings, the sky’s the limit”, the 68-year-old said.
With the sound of popping balloons still fresh in her ears, Hillary Clinton hit the road on Friday for a bus tour of America’s rustbelt, marking the start of a battle for the soul of the nation, that threatens to be every bit as historic as becoming the Democratic party’s first female nominee.
“Anytime Bernie speaks it’s my favorite speech”, he added, referring to the speech Sanders gave Monday to the convention.
“Oh we’re feeling wonderful!” said Linda Pauline, who came to Temple University with her sisters, Rose Lee and Linda.
Donald Trump is suddenly distancing himself from last week’s Republican National Convention, after television ratings show that the Democratic National Convention consistently pulled in more viewers across the country for three consecutive nights.
On Wednesday night President Obama took to the stage and asked the Democratic Party supporters to join him in making sure that Hillary Clinton was elected the next president of the United States.
She said she would be a president for Democrats, Republicans and independents – “for all those who vote for me and those who don’t”.
“I am watching Crooked Hillary speak”, Trump tweeted during Clinton’s remarks. “And I couldn’t stop thinking of my mother and what she went through as a child”, Clinton said. “I believe climate change is real, and that we can save our planet while creating millions of good-paying, clean-energy jobs”.

The other big lines of the speech were all attacks on Donald Trump.
