FBI Investigating Potential Hack of Some Clinton Campaign Computers
A computer network used by Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign was breached by hackers as part of a sweeping cyber attack that appears to be targeting Democrats, Reuters reported Friday.

The Clinton campaign, however, said in a statement that there was no evidence so far that its internal systems were compromised.
The Clinton campaign and the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee both were targets in newly revealed cybersecurity incidents, along with the Democratic National Committee, which recently saw a trove of hacked emails released after a previously disclosed attack. According to Reuters, an analytics data program built by the DNC and used by the campaign had been compromised.
“The cyberthreat environment continues to evolve as cyberactors target all sectors and their data”, said the Federal Bureau of Investigation in its statement.
The DNC attack was linked to Russian Federation by a number of private groups, although the USA intelligence community has yet to make an official determination.
USA officials are investigating a second cyber-security breach at the Democratic Party, this time with the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC).
“The DCCC takes this matter very seriously”, said Kelly in the statement.
The Democratic Party suffered another hack, according to two reports Friday, heightening concerns Russian Federation might be trying to influence the United States presidential election.
The attack was a part of a larger attack on Democratic political organizations.
It was not clear what data was exposed, although donors typically submit a variety of personal information including names, email addresses and credit card details when making a contribution. That leak led to the resignation of DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Shultz this week. The Clinton campaign has been attempting to portray Russian Federation as not just the culprit, but secretly behind Donald Trump’s campaign. “We are cooperating with the federal law enforcement with respect to their ongoing investigation”. During the press conference, Trump answered questions on many issues.
Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump then stirred up more controversy when he cited the DNC hack and called on Russian Federation to find emails deleted from Hillary Clinton’s private email server when she was secretary of state, a comment he later said was sarcastic.

This week, Mr Trump encouraged Moscow to seek and release more than 30,000 other missing emails deleted by Ms Clinton, the former secretary of state.
