Richie Incognito Says Roger Goodell’s Absolute Power Is “Bogus”

Now, after the players’ association was allowed by a judge last week to release transcripts of Brady’s appeal of his four-game suspension, we have gotten more insight to how Goodell operates. “The integrity of the game is something we will always protect”. It’s not me saying I’m for or against his decision.

There’s no smoking firearm, and Brady puts on a show of being a decent fellow in the messages. If you’re in a deeper league, Blount should be a guy you keep your eye on as the draft winds down. “I think there’s definitely a part of me that’s conscious about things that are said”. I’m still on the fence on the entire issue.

Wells: Not to my knowledge, but the truthful answer is he didn’t provide any to me, okay. Winning the public opinion battle takes precedent and the race-to-report media continues to be all in.

Hopefully, the odds this overblown could finally come to a definite resolution (legally, that is) in the next week or so are “more probable than not”, to coin an NFL phrase. “He has a lot energy and he hires unbiased investigators who are available and are clearly not unbiased”. There’s a good chance any court ruling won’t come until just before the regular season, so the only way to enter your fantasy draft is under the assumption that Brady will be riding pine until Week 6.

There are several facts many fans don’t know.

Ted Wells came in with a mission against me”, he told Glauber. Brady also testified he was under the assumption that nearly all the Patriots’ footballs were well under the inflation limit, something the NFL could have easily corrected in the first few hours after Mortensen’s tweet. It also led to Brady calling and texting John Jastremski to find out what happened. The NFL finally just admitted in court filings that it didn’t matter if the investigation was independent or not.

Brady lawyer Jeffrey Kessler forces Wells to admit, obvious to everyone in the room, that a law-firm colleague who played an instrumental role in crafting the Wells Report cross-examined Tom Brady on behalf of the NFL during the hearing. This is some disingenuous and disturbing behavior by the NFL. Does that make me guilty?

Incognito faced his own investigation from the same man who compiled the DeflateGate report, noted attorney Ted Wells. He’s not an independent investigator.

Before Ted Wells began investigating Deflategate this year, he was involved in one other NFL investigation.

This fact alone should result in Brady’s suspension being overturned by judge Richard M. Berman. But you can’t appeal back to the person who handed down your punishment.
