Weeks had last been seen at her home in Chichester, in West Sussex, on Thursday and was reported missing an hour later.

Concerned police appealed for help tracking down the actress when she disappeared on Thursday talking of her battle with anxiety.

A spokesman from Sussex Police said: “Police issued a missing persons appeal after her recent behaviour – and her disappearance – concerned her family and friends”.

While Honeysuckle is known to travel for work, her friends and family say she’d never just leave without giving them a heads up… which is why they’re so nervous this early into the investigation.

Det Kate Wilt said: “If you read this Honeysuckle, please get in touch to let us know you are ok”.

The actress spoke out about her role on ITV’s Foyle’s War in 2014 on Good Morning Britain, and looked relaxed as she laughed about it being “fun”.

Her mother Susan Wade Weeks, a copywriter, is divorced from Honeysuckle’s father Robin who owns an advertising company.

She later met Mr Stormonth-Darling – a dealer in Tibetan antiques 16 years her senior – and they got married in a Buddhist ceremony in the Himalayas.

Police discovered a child in the back seat was not wearing a proper seatbelt and it emerged she had been banned from driving. No one sets out to speed.

Ms Poku added: ‘She is lovely, down to earth and she is great’.
