“I don’t know what’s going on, but they’re all tweeting about Donald Trump and stuff”. But that’s not what he publicly stated just two years ago.
Trump’s talk about Russian Federation raising new questions about his relationship with its president, Vladimir Putin.
And in 2011, Putin accused the U.S. State Department and Hillary Clinton, its then head, of stirring up street protests against his rule. “So today he says some pleasant things to Russian Federation, and maybe tomorrow he will say maybe something unpleasant, and we will have a problem in our relations”. I think I’d have a good relationship with Putin. Heck, Trump says he spoke directly with him and that he “could not have been nicer”.

Epshteyn said the “relationship” Trump was describing didn’t extend beyond Putin following what Trump was doing in Moscow.

Trump also predicted a better U.S. -Russia relationship under his administration.
“It’s pure politics, it’s not about military secrets”. National security experts not laughing.
Well, we can’t say much more than that about the divinely-inspired Golden Girls parody that some genius threw together this week.
“I mean look, he’s done a very brilliant job in terms of what he represents and what he’s representing”, Trump said.

Showing remarkable lucidity, one which seems to be lacking among most American voters, Peskov added that “We know perfectly well that candidates in the heat of a pre-election struggle say one thing, but that later, when under the weight of responsibility, their rhetoric becomes more balanced”.
