The Congress has been protesting on Lalit Modi and Vyapam related issues and seeking resignations of External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj and Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh chief ministers.

The BJP government has a plan to tackle the Parliament logjam, Javadekar said.

“Political journey from nonsense to nuisance of Rahul Baba, the brand new leader of the grand old party, is miles away from ground realities”, Naqvi alleged.

“…Now it has become crystal clear that Congress is afraid of the growing popularity of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and his government…And wants to delay the legislations which are essential for country’s economy and development”, Naqvi claimed. “I would expect Shrimati Sonia Gandhi to seriously ponder over the issue after the clarification of Sushma ji and enable proper functioning of the Parliament for at least the remaining four sittings”, he said.

The suspension of the Congress MPs was justified as they paid no heed to the dignity of either Parliament or the Chair, he said.

“Congress is not letting Parliament function and obstructing the growth of the nation”, the Union minister said. The NDA has offered intervention by the PM but the unbending stand taken by the Congress has brought the proceedings to a virtual standstill. Such undemocratic parade to defame the constitutional structure is going on only on the directions of Sonia and Rahul Gandhi.
