Known as ‘samsungsmart’ on the thread, this guy proudly said that he was the same guy who leaked the flagship Galaxy 7 and 7 Edge some time ago. The interesting new addition this year will be the Iris scanner which could add a whole new way to unlock Samsung Galaxy Note 7. Further, the waterproof feature has also been teased along with the phablet’s S Pen add-on which will come with surprising features such as text highlighting. Apart from the apparent aesthetics of the device, the leak also provided screenshots which basically confirmed some the phablet’s specifications. Its hardware includes a 5.7-inch, QHD Super AMOLED display, 12MP camera on the back and a 5MP shooter on the front.

New information now indicates that the European release date for the Galaxy Note 2 will be on August 16, which is two weeks after the August 2 unveiling. Aside from the exciting August 2 launch is another piece of good news, which is that the Galaxy Note 7 will be released alongside a compatible Gear VR headset. Reportedly, the phablet is now available for pre-order in Dubai, while T-Mobile is expected to launch its pre-order for the Samsung device beginning next week. “We can’t wait to tell you more about it!”, according to Samsung.
