Clinton shatters glass ceiling with ‘milestone’ presidential nomination

Bernie Sanders to secure the nomination, and while Dugan ultimately is a Clinton supporter, her respect for Sanders and his loyal followers is evident. “I am getting hit and they don’t mean it and there’s a lot of lies being told”, he said.

Clinton would love to win over Republicans and independents who don’t like Trump.

Their occasional chants of protest were drowned out by Clinton supporters chanting: “Hillary”.

Also on Friday, Trump’s running mate, Mike Pence, who does indeed follow Donald Trump on Twitter, said that politics is no place for name calling.

“A great Democratic president Franklin Delano Roosevelt came up with the flawless rebuke to Trump more than 80 years ago, during a much more perilous time – ‘the only thing we have to fear is fear itself'”.
