Trump challenges Clintons promises in new video
Watching Hillary Clinton’s convention speech, almost all of these voters agreed Clinton came off softer around the edges. Her competitor Donald Trump said he watched the convention and told his followers he’s not going to show restraint anymore.

Earlier in the night, Doug Elmets, a former aide to Ronald Reagan, tried to cut into comparisons made between Trump and the Republican icon and former president.
Share with Us – We’d love to hear eyewitness accounts, the history behind an article, and smart, constructive criticism. Mike Smith, chairman of the Limestone County Democrats, plans to support Clinton and he’s urging others to do the same.
Clinton even left some Sanders supporters emotional and excited to support her candidacy heading into the general election in November. The choice is clear, Clinton said.
But Clinton aides are confident that the same reason Republicans are disaffected – Trump atop the ticket – will be the same reason that most liberal Democrats will overlook issues they have with Clinton and not vote for a third party option. He thought speeches by President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama were the highlights of the four-day convention.
“I know that at a time when so much seems to be pulling us apart, it can be hard to imagine how we’ll ever pull together again”, Clinton said to a rapt Democratic convention audience.
But the trip also hints at a problem within Clinton’s base, as well: White, working class voters, especially those hurt by globalization and manufacturing plants are drawn to Trump’s message of economic security and cracking down on immigration.
“I will be a president for Democrats, Republicans and independents”, Clinton said.
She reflected on her upbringing, mentioning how her parents raised her and also touched upon gun violence, women’s rights, and LGBT rights.
Donald Trump enjoyed a bump in the polls immediately following the Republican National Convention (RNC) last week.
It’s these voters that could help carry Donald Trump and Indiana Gov. Mike Pence to victory in November.
The Democratic convention began in Philadelphia Monday with party leaders trying to bind wounds and heal divisions among Democrats, as angry Bernie Sanders delegates came to terms with the dimming of their dream.
When asked if the “Mothers of the Movement” appearance was a case of pandering, Smith said he didn’t think so. Trump is offering “empty promises”, Clinton said, while she has a bold agenda “to keep you safe, to get you good jobs, and to give your kids the opportunities they deserve”. We have a disproportionate amount of unarmed black men being shot. “To the “Bernie or Bust” people”, said comedian Sarah Silverman at the podium, “you’re being ridiculous!” “If you don’t address it, you should go to trial”.
“We have so many things in common, and this country is very important, and we follow it very, very closely”, Talal Al-Haj, UN & NY Bureau Chief from Al-Arabiya News Channel which is based in Dubai said.

The U.S. attorney general decided not to pursue charges against Clinton, but the Federal Bureau of Investigation director, in recommending that no charges be filed, nonetheless called the storage of classified information on private email “extremely careless”.
