Trump wins if he can keep the campaign focused on the anti-establishment narrative that boosted him from long-shot outsider to nominee, a plotline that helped boost him a bit despite a discordant Republican convention last week.
Trump has zeroed in on white, working-class voters in the region as critical to his campaign and plans to visit both states early next week.

Wyden reacted sharply to the recent statement by Trump that he hoped Russian Federation had hacked Clinton’s emails and encouraged the foreign nation to release them. Possibly, although the latest Marist poll for the NBC/Wall Street Journal series showed similar results.
Rendell, speaking Thursday at a Bloomberg breakfast event, said voter-registration changes suggest Trump has “already made inroads” in Pennsylvania.
Trump also promised to escalate his already harsh attacks against Clinton.

They waved American flags and held Trump campaign signs as well as homemade signs with phrases such as “Crooked Hillary” and “send her a$$ to jail”, and “lock her up”. “She said that what anxious President Kennedy during that very unsafe time was that a war might be started – not by big men with self-control and restraint, but by little men – the ones moved by fear and pride”. “I loved it when she said, “No, Donald, you don’t”. I’m taking the gloves off”.
