‘Teen Wolf’ Star Tyler Posey Apologizes After Pretending to Come Out

Hilarious, right? Not to “Teen Wolf” fans who believed that Posey was legitimately coming out ― or to anybody with a basic sensitivity to the LGBTQ community. “This was a moment meant to reflect that”, Posey wrote on Twitter. The other day I was driving by these two kids wearing backpacks, in high school, and they were holding hands, boys, and I loved it.

The 24-year-old Teen Wolf actor was walking down Gay St.in New York City when he decided to make the video for his social media account. I am this and this is me. “I’ve never felt more alive”, he said before yelling, “I’m gay!”

The video included a rainbow emoticon at the bottom of the frame, representing LGBT pride.

Tyler Posey might have just come out as a gay.

‘Look at that thing!’ Tyler said, the camera zoomed in on a lantern. He reportedly later posted a Snapchat with a lamp, announcing “Oh man, am I happy!” “I didn’t feel like I owed anyone anything”. And I’m not down for that’.

Posey went on Twitter to clarify he wasn’t gay and apologize for his “joke”.

Will queer folks continue to tune into “Teen Wolf” after this debacle?
