Pakistan draw two-day tour match with Worcestershire at New Road

Pakistan spent the day in the field after declaring on 261 for three on day one, and Worcestershire turned their overnight 30 without loss into 260 for six before the sides shook hands on a draw late in the afternoon.

Worcestershire’s Daryl Mitchell and Tom Fell began with an encouraging stand of 77 which was ended when Rahat had Fell held by Azhar Ali.

Fell looked in good touch and collected successive boundaries from cover drives against Rahat Ali.

His opening partner Mitchell, who consumed 120 balls for his 49, was the next to join him in the dressing room when his innings was cut short by Sohail Khan.

Clarke’s fifty came off 68 balls and he hit Zulfiqar for six before he was caught behind off Rahat.

Left-arm spinner Zulfiqar, Imran and Sohail bagged one scalp each.

He struck Babar for a straight six and produced several typical powerful strokes in going to his 50 off 96 balls with seven fours and a six out of 219-5.

Clarke completed his fifty and along with Kohler-Cadmore (73) he added 56-runs for the third wicket. There were a few partnerships that helped Worcestershire lead to draw against Pakistan.
