Trump to Clinton: ‘No more Mr. Nice Guy’
Trump was a punching bag at the Democratic convention in Philadelphia, which wrapped up Thursday night, as speaker after speaker – including some Republicans – said he lacked the temperament to be president. No Republican has ever won the White House without winning OH on election day.

The night’s other memorable speakers included Khizr Khan, the father of a fallen Muslim soldier, who offered to loan Donald Trump his copy of the constitution, and retired United States Marine Corps Gen. John Allen, who endorsed Clinton, saying as commander-in-chief, she would not reduce worldwide relations to a “business transaction”. The former secretary of state won more than three out of four black votes in 25 primary states where exit polling was conducted and, by the end of the primary season, she had swept the 15 states with the largest black populations.
Like the high-level male Democrats who spoke last night, Mrs Clinton tried to reach across the aisle and appeal to Republicans who may be wary of a Donald Trump presidency.
Trump also bashed Clinton as “owned by Wall Street” and claimed her “vision is a borderless world where working people have no power, no jobs, no safety”.
“We will strike their sanctuaries from the air and support local forces taking them out on the ground”. Democrats drew 24.4 million viewers on day three, one million more than the Republican convention.
In a detailed acceptance speech during Thursday’s closing session, Clinton countered Trump’s portrayal of a dystopian America, describing instead a nation with “the most powerful military, the most innovative entrepreneurs, the most enduring values”. “A man you can bait with a tweet is not a man you can trust with nuclear weapons”, Clinton said.
Their biggest task is helping Clinton overcome the mistrust of voters, which is reflected in her poll numbers. “I’m happy this day has come-and I’m happy for boys and men because the time any barrier falls in America, it falls for everyone”. And she recognised the historic nature of the moment: “When there are no ceilings, the sky is the limit”.
Another of Clinton’s supporters, U.S. Senate hopeful Katie McGinty of Pennsylvania, netted headlines this week for calling her Republican opponent, Sen.
“I was talking about her nose”, Trump said in Colorado Springs.
American voters will make their choice on November 8. “They know we’ve got to unite and stop Trump”. For all Americans together.
Trump also brought up the case of disabled New York Times reporter Serge Kovaleski, whom Trump seemed to mock publicly in video used by the Clinton ad. “That feeling of being valued and loved, that’s what my mom wants for every child”, she said.

Elizabeth Birch, a lesbian Clinton supporter who attended the speech and former head of the Human Rights Campaign, said Clinton’s speech was “deep and detailed” in contrast to Trump’s proposals.
