The National Weather Service released a 113-page report detailing the historic flooding that occurred across SC last October that left 19 dead and caused nearly $1.5 billion in damages.

The heavy rain expected might cause flooding of urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.
In the early hours of Friday morning, meteorologists with the National Weather Service predicted rainfall totals.
On Sunday there is a chance of rain showers and thunderstorms, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 2 p.m.
FRIDAY: Scattered heavy showers and thunderstorms will linger into the morning.
The service forecast sporadic rain- and thunderstorms throughout the weekend, with the more sunshine Monday and later into the week. But, the streak ended with Thursday’s high temperature of 89.
The chances for flash flooding in Rhode Island and CT has dropped, and as a result, those two states are no longer in a Flash Flood Watch.
Saturday: Patchy fog before 7 a.m.; 50% chance of rain, with thunderstorms possible after noon. Friday’s high temperatures will be limited to the seasonably warm lower to mid 80s.

Saturday is looking okay as the cold front dips to the south. Skies will be partly cloudy through much of the day.
