Donald Trump’s RNC speech leaked ahead of Thursday night appearance
“You could listen to that speech and you could think, my goodness, he believes America is in decline”, the 68-year-old leader said.

Hillary Clinton is using Donald Trump’s words against him in a creative new way.
The speechwriter, Meredith McIver, said Mrs. Trump had read excerpts of Mrs. Obama’s speech to her as examples of things she liked. But If he was the nominee, the people who think he’s so principled now would be would be dousing him in gasoline instead of showering him with kisses.
The Republican convention – all you need to know Media captionWhat’s the point of a party convention anyway?
Cruz said that the Trump campaign had seen the speech beforehand, and that he told Trump personally that he would not make an endorsement. He barely even mentioned Trump’s name.
Cruz allies have since repeatedly pointed to that low blow from Trump as a reason for refusing to support the Republican nominee.
Democrats concede that Trump will take some blue-collar white voters away from them in places like southwestern Pennsylvania, northeastern OH and similar regions across the nation’s industrial belt.
Cries of “Endorse Trump!”
“It’s not classless to compliment Trump for winning”, the source added. It was a suggestion Trump first floated during their heated primary battle – one that caused Cruz to explode in anger at the real-estate mogul at the time. “I thought I was in Veterans Stadium in Philadelphia, he got booed so much”, Otter said, referring to the now-demolished venue where the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies once played.
Cruz, known as a ideologue of the conservative Tea Party movement who strongly favors small government, has been a controversial figure in the party himself, upsetting fellow Republicans in Congress by plowing his own furrow. Trump supporters I spoke with tended to view individuals like Rubio and Jeb Bush as more pitiful than malevolent. He saw the speech ahead of time.
Wednesday’s program also will bring two conservative stalwarts to the stage: Trump’s running mate, Indiana Gov. Mike Pence, a favorite of evangelicals; and the nominee’s most tenacious challenger in the primaries, Texas Sen.
Maybe Trump expected Cruz’s non-endorsement to backfire, which it apparently did.
“YouTube will again be the official live stream provider of both the Republican National Convention, which starts on Monday, July 18 in Cleveland, Ohio, and the Democratic National Convention, kicking off on July 25 in Philadelphia, Pa”, YouTube wrote in a blog post. The great irony is that Cruz’s mistake is that he is thinking and acting like a member of the Republican establishment.
Cruz “was trying to reach those people who say ‘Never Trump, ‘” said Emily Redditt, an alternate delegate from Texas, as she defended her senator. He was not going to be “a servile puppy dog”. I told you he was a good orator.
And Thursday morning he was greeted with boos from upset fellow Texans at a breakfast for delegates from the Lone Star State. Cruz dropped out of the race in early May, finishing second to Trump in the delegate count.
Cruz said he couldn’t endorse a man who has attacked him personally.

But when Republican leaders in Congress tried to pursue it in 2013 by backing a compromise with Democrats over immigration, a critical issue for many Latinos, GOP voters revolted, forcing their leaders to back down. The bigger the loss, the more blame there is to spread around.
