Pokémon Go Player Crashes Into School While Driving
A 28-year-old man is jailed after Oakland County authorities say he crashed his vehicle while driving drunk and playing a popular smartphone game.

The teen was trying to capture a digital creature from the Pokemon Go mobile phone app when he lost control of his auto while negotiating a roundabout.
“If an accident was caused by a driver who was handling their phone, it may result in an insurance claim being denied, and the driver left to cover the fix costs themselves”. According to Australia’s The Age, the unnamed man crashed into St Francis Xavier College in Berwick.
The 19-year-old did not level up nor collect any stardust or sweets – only debris from the crash.
Unsurprisingly, the police’s spokesperson Julie-Anne Newman said the driver can expect to face charges related to property damage and his “Chancey” driving.
Sadly, this is just one of many accidents which have so far been associated with the app. In Baltimore, dashboard footage caught a man accidentally crashing his auto into a police cruiser.
Japan’s nuclear regulator sent out a warning to national energy providers telling them to tighten security after three Pokemon-obsessed teenagers managed to make their way onto a nuclear power site in OH in the US. It goes without question that a distracted driver is a danger to themselves and other road users, and playing a game is one of the dumbest things one can do while driving.
