Divock Origi played for Liverpool against AC Milan in a pre-season friendly.
Origi, introduced for Sturridge, opened the scoring with a fine effort, stepping his marker on the left side of the area before curling his shot into the far bottom corner after a long ball from Alberto Moreno.

Liverpool foreshadowed its second-half toxicity, almost breaking a scoreless deadlock in the 41st minute.
The new arrival from Mainz suffered the injury in Liverpool’s opening game of the International Champions Cup in the United States on Wednesday, when his team went down 1-0 to Chelsea in Pasadena. Their next game will be against FC Barcelona on August 6 in London.
“I try to learn day by day and as a team also we’re learning so I think I can feel the confidence from everyone. Obviously it’s still preseason and obviously results don’t mean too much but it was nice to get win”.

On the first occasion, of course, Liverpool hit back from a 3-0 half-time deficit in Istanbul to triumph on penalties, but two years later Milan got their revenge by winning 2-1 in Athens.
