Donald Trump Jr. Learns Why ‘Please Pass The Ketchup’ Isn’t Plagiarism

One of the best-known women in the world since the 1990s, Clinton is betting that she can defy the negative impressions that most voters have of her and restore some measure of trust with a distrustful electorate.

Addressing Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), directly, Clinton thanked her primary adversary for inspiring millions of Americans, particularly the young people, she said, “who threw their hearts and souls into our primary”.

She directly linked her candidacy to the presidency of Obama, whom she said does not get almost enough credit for “saving us from the worst recession since the Great Depression”.

Vying to be the first woman elected United States president, Clinton called her nomination “a milestone”.

She is expected to hit opponent Donald Trump but also lay out her own vision for America – likely a more positive take on the country than her GOP rival, and more in the style of President Obama’s speech Wednesday night.

As she prepared to deliver her speech, people familiar with the matter said the FBI is investigating a cyber attack against another Democratic Party group, which may be related to an earlier hack against the Democratic National Committee.

She spoke about family and children, coming just off the publication of her book, It Takes a Village: And Other Lessons Children Teach Us.

“I was talking about her nose”, Mr Trump said in Colorado Springs. After her daughter Chelsea introduced her, Clinton moved to unify not just her party, but every undecided voter.

“He thinks that he knows more than our military because he claimed our armed forces are ‘a disaster, ‘ ” she said. But whilst Hillary isn’t going to fire a crowd up in the same way as Obama, that will matter little if her speech works in the way she wanted it to. As Clinton herself said in her acceptance speech, “When there are no ceilings, the sky’s the limit”. That’s the future we’re working toward.

It was not immediately clear what other statements and accusations that the Trumps have made during their 50-plus-year business and political careers were only said in jest and not meant to be taken seriously.

Mr Trump said he was depicting the reporter groveling to him. The Democratic event, packed with celebrities and well-received speeches by President Barack Obama, first lady Michelle Obama and former President Bill Clinton, had reached more viewers than the Republicans for each of the first three nights of their respective conventions.

Clinton closed her speech with mentions of the Founding Fathers and their “selfless passion to build something better for all who follow”.

“We are clear-eyed about what our country is up against”, she said in excerpts released ahead of her speech today accepting the Democratic presidential nomination.

Although Schultz resigned her position, Sanders supporters staged a walkout following the roll call that officially nominated Clinton for their president. Despite some ongoing resistance from Bernie backers she vowed to pinch some of his economic policies and also tackle issues like student debt which gained Sanders so much support. They both garner high “unpopularity” ratings.

Clinton also trained fire on Trump’s dystopian view of America. But we already know he doesn’t believe these things.
