Greater Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church continues its Community Summer Revival on July 28-29, at 7:30 p.m., at 5300 South Denker Avenue in Los Angeles, said Pastor DeNon Porter. The group includes Patrick Springs residents Mary Jo and Charlie Leet on guitar and bass along with OH musicians Linda Tatarian on banjo and Chris Tatarian on guitar and harmonica.
– The Wilmington Celebration Choir will be in concert at Centerville Baptist Church, located on Hwy. The Rev. Robert D. Williams Sr., associate minister at First Baptist Lumberton, will be Monday night’s speaker; the Rev. Eric P. Sanders, youth pastor at Faith Tabernacle Christian Center in St. Pauls, will be Tuesday night’s speaker; and the Rev. Jerome Billups, pastor of Greenville Baptist Church in Lumberton, will be Wednesday night’s speaker.
Lumberton Aglow meets every third Saturday of each month at 9:30 a.m.at the Golden Corral in Lumberton. Attire is casual. The Rev. Henry Brown, pastor of First Emanuel Baptist Church and Star of Bethlehem Baptist Church, will deliver the message.
