Netflix’s Gilmore Girls Revival Gets Air Date And Teaser Trailer

Sherman-Palladino recently revealed at the Gilmore Girls TCA panel that all four of the episodes in the revival will be released in typical Netflix fashion: all at once.

The wait is over, or maybe it’s just beginning, but either way, the “Gilmore Girls” has a release date for its Netflix reboot: November 25. “They said, ‘Can we help you with that?'” She followed up with another tweet, clarifying that pics of her hitting the waves are very much an exaggerated view of her preferred vacationing activities. It’s flawless – and it’s giving us all the Stars Hollow feels.

What the trailer won’t give you, though, is the answer to the question we’ve all been guessing at since Rory Gilmore left our lives as a single woman back in 2007: Who will she end up with?

Amy Sherman-Palladino, who is as famous for creating Gilmore Girls as she is for leaving the show in its sixth season, spoke with Entertainment Weekly and confirmed that the scene was “created specifically for the promo”.

“I relished it, and I’m ruined for life because there’s no more flawless fit I feel like for me than that writing and that show”, she told People Magazine. Lorelai asks her daughter.

“You don’t always get what you want”, she said.

A trailer offering a first look at the new series attracted nearly one million views on YouTube in its first 24 hours online. “I promise I usually just lay there (sex too)”, the Trainwreck actress added.

Expect to see plenty of familiar staples like Luke’s Diner and the Dragonfly Inn, along with most of the original cast-including Lauren Graham, Alexis Bledel, Milo Ventimiglia and Melissa McCarthy. Netflix knows that fans will binge on watching Gilmore Girls that is why Netflix made it a point to premiere the show on a holiday.
