USA is at a ‘moment of reckoning’: Hillary Clinton
The final night of the Democratic convention marks the only ratings loss to the RNC, after the DNC drew more viewers in each of the first three evenings. The 36-year-old daughter of Bill and Hillary has campaigned for her mother for years.

On Thursday night, as the world watched Hillary Clinton become the first woman to accept the nomination for president of a major US political party, a stark difference emerged in the sentiment across Twitter.
Clinton also offered an olive branch to those who backed her rival Bernie Sanders, telling them their voice had been heard, even as isolated voices of dissent echoed around the Philadelphia sports arena. A parade of military leaders, law enforcement officials and Republicans took the stage ahead of Clinton to endorse her in the general election contest with Trump.
The tit-for-tat comes after Donald Trump’s wife, Melania, was criticized last week after being busted brazenly pinch from a speech First Lady Michelle Obama gave at the Democratic National Convention in 2008.
Perhaps Trump has made a decision to cultivate a new image as a fair-minded critic and will soon be referring to the Democratic nominee as “Could Be More Ethical (Although, Really, Who Am I to Say?) Hillary”.

But Trump claimed he was the person who deserved congratulations.
Trump Jr. suggested that Obama’s speech in Philadelphia on Wednesday night lifted a line from his Republican National Convention remarks, pointing out that both addresses contained the line “That’s not the America I know”. “Because it’s not just a detail if it’s your kid-if it’s your family”.
“He wants to divide us, from the rest of the world, and from each other”, she said. “She spent the evening talking down to the American people she’s looked down on her whole life”, said Miller in a statement.
“I didn’t know he was disabled”. “He spoke for 70-odd minutes – and I do mean odd”, she said. Clinton said she was happy for woman, considering the historic moment and also for men, because she said that when a barrier is broken, it helps everyone, saying to imagine what could happen, “when there are no ceilings”.

“We will strike their sanctuaries from the air, and support local forces taking them out on the ground”, she said. If you believe we should expand Social Security and protect a woman’s right to make her own health care decisions – join us!
