Islamabad, KP, Punjab and Kashmir jolt with natural disaster

There is an quake reported with the epicentre as Afghanistan, tremors were felt in Delhi, India.

So far, there are no reports of any loss of lives or damage to property.

The tremors were felt all across North India including Delhi-NCR, many parts of Srinagar, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and Punjab at around 3.35 p.m.

A moderate intensity quake, measuring 5.5 on the Richter scale had jolted the Kashmir Valley on June 30.

Hindu Kush is an 800-kilometre-long mountain range that stretches between central Afghanistan and northern Pakistan.

The quake measured 6.7 on the Richter scale. People reportedly ran out of their buildings following the tremors. A total 375 aftershocks with 4 or more magnitude have been recorded over the past 100 days following the April 25 natural disaster that left almost 9,000 people dead.
