Indians get reliever Miller from Yanks
The Yankees and Indians have agreed to a deal that will send lefty reliever Andrew Miller to Cleveland, according to FOX Sports’ Ken Rosenthal.

Given Miller’s contract stability and pure dominance, it had to take an undeniable offer for the Yankees’ front office to budge on a deal.
ESPN’s Buster Olney reports that teams are continuing to have trade discussions with the Yankees about Andrew Miller.
The Indians, who entered Sunday with the best record in the American League, appear to be very active on the trade market, as they’re also reportedly trying to acquire All-Star catcher Jonathan Lucroy from the Milwaukee Brewers.
In 45.1 innings over 44 appearances this season, Miller has a 1.39 ERA and 77 strikeouts. Sheffield is one of the organization’s top pitching prospects. NY reportedly will receive a four-player haul of prospects that includes outfielder Clint Frazier and pitcher Jestus Sheffield.
The Yankees are now in sell mode, a decision that was made while watching the team lose two games to the Tampa Bay Rays. 273 in the minors this season with 13 homers in 362 at-bats.

Sheffield, nephew of former major-leaguer Gary Sheffield, had posted a 3.59 ERA with an 8.8 K/9 and 3.8 BB/9 in 19 starts for High-A Lynchburg.
