Joe Biden offers fiery rebuke of Donald Trump

The question was simple, the answers predictable in the dead-heat split of this presidential race, now officially owned by Democrat Hillary Clinton and Republican Donald Trump. He contemplated a presidential run this year but was not ready after the death of his son.

Biden has not yet shared a stage with Clinton in 2016. Hillary understood that for years, millions of people went to bed staring at the ceiling thinking, “What if I get breast cancer? No one has fought for the kind of causes that he believes in”, Goodman said.

“But they get up every day, they put one foot in front of the other”, Biden added. I’m not joking. Think about that.

The Clinton campaign is counting on Biden’s appeal to resonate with voters in Rust Belt states and in the swing state of Pennsylvania. The duo will campaign for the first time together next month in his hometown after their last event was canceled in the wake of the deadly shooting of police officers in Dallas. Her husband, former president Bill Clinton, and daughter, Chelsea Clinton, cheered her on from the Wells Fargo Center at the time.

But, despite making several mentions of plans she has made with her erstwhile rival Bernie Sanders, she did not have a trouble-free speech, with several in the audience heard heckling at several points before others drowned them out with chants of “Hillary, Hillary…”

Whatever he thinks, and I mean is from the bottom of my heart – I know I’m called middle-class Joe and in Washington, that is not meant as a compliment.

“It’s not so much that I’m on the ticket, it’s because of the stark choice that’s posed to Americans in this election”, she said. “This is a man of character”, he said, “and he’s become a brother to Jill and me”.

If Clinton wins the November election, Carper said, Clinton will need him as a surrogate and emissary around the world.
