Chelsea Clinton Would Consider a ‘Daughters Summit’ With Ivanka Trump
She credited her mother with making it easier for kids to be adopted, for 9/11 responders to get health care, and for women around the world to be safe and have greater opportunity.

As Hillary ClintonHillary Rodham ClintonHow did Hillary Clinton do?
As daughters of Presidential nominees Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton, Ivanka Trump and Chelsea Clinton have been integral parts of their parents’ campaigns. Even in talking about the former secretary of state’s work for education reform as the first lady of Arkansas, her ultimately unsuccessful push for universal health care during her husband’s administration, or her work for the victims of the September 11 attacks as a USA senator, Chelsea Clinton focused less on what her mother did and more on what motivated her.
But what Chelsea did provide-that Ivanka most definitely did not-were specific, detailed, intimate anecdotes about her mother: the books they read, the jokes they shared, the family outings they took, and the little mother-daughter rituals they developed. “It’s a tall marching order, but Chelsea is the one to do it”.
Chelsea Clinton tells the Democratic convention that her mother has always made her feel “valued and loved”, and she says Hillary Clinton wants that for every child.
“People don’t take their cues from politicians or scripted convention portrayals”. So Chelsea’s an especially relatable, approachable, comfortable validator.
“She will never forget who she’s fighting for”, Chelsea Clinton added. She is like her mother that way. When she showed up on stage with her mother, she barely spoke. “These are the voices that speak to character, and character is central to the presidency”. In her speech, Chelsea, 36, narrated the story of her mother, her values and family life and how she grew up. I treasured each and every one of those notes. When she went to France to learn about the childcare system, I remember one was all about the eiffel tower. Leive asked the younger Clinton about a speech Ivanka Trump gave at the RNC last week. “It will be interesting to see what Chelsea can do”. She also earned a doctorate from Oxford.
Still, Chelsea endured years engulfed in drama and the intense media scrutiny that surrounded her family.
I’m voting for a fighter who never, ever gives up… and who believes we can do better, when we come together and work together.
‘And yet clearly Ivanka and I have very different views on who we think should be our president and who would be best for the country, ‘ Chelsea said. In 1943, the 37-year-old eldest child of Franklin Roosevelt, who had worked as a journalist for a decade, moved into the White House to serve as her father’s special assistant. She attended a Human Rights Campaign luncheon where she was well-received by crowd, according to attendees.
It happened during a Facebook Live event with Cindy Leive, Glamour magazine’s editor-in-chief. She held a variety of positions from working for NBC News as a correspondent to consulting for McKinsey & Company.

Politically, Ivanka Trump, who last week described herself as neither “Republican or Democrat”, and Chelsea Clinton are not all that far apart.
