Trump also pushed back on Khan’s on-stage suggestion that he has “sacrificed nothing and no one” in an interview with with ABC News’ George Stephanopoulos aired Sunday on “This Week”.

Trump criticized Khan’s wife for not speaking during the convention and questioned if a member of the Clinton campaign wrote the speech.
“If you look at his wife, she was standing there”.
“Donald Trump said that maybe I wasn’t allowed to say anything”, Khan wrote. “She probably, maybe she wasn’t allowed to have anything to say”, he said. But Ghazala did that too in interview with MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell.
“I was very nervous because I can not see my son’s picture”. Whoever saw me felt me in their heart. In a Saturday night statement, he called the Khan’s son a “hero to our country” and tried to shift the issue to “the real problem” which he argued was “the radical Islamic terrorists who killed him”.
“While I feel deeply for the loss of his son, Mr Khan, who has never met me, has no right to stand in front of millions of people and claim I have never read the Constitution, (which is false) and say many other inaccurate things”, Mr Trump said. Go look at the names of the fearless patriots who died while defending the United States of America.
Khizr Khan says he will continue to speak out against Donald Trump under GOP leaders pull their support for Trump.
I can not walk into a room with pictures of Humayun. You tell me. But plenty of people have written that. In this document, look for the words liberty, and equal protection of law.
Some congressional Republicans said Trump said he would defend Article XII of the Constitution during a closed-door meeting last month with House Republicans.
Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is suggesting the US accept Russia’s annexation of Crimea if it would lead to better relations with Moscow and stronger cooperation in fighting Islamic State militants. “She was extremely quiet and it looked like she had nothing to say”.
On Saturday, Clinton said in a campaign rally that the Khans Khans specifically and Muslims generally are the most recent recipients of Trump’s insults, and referenced his past statements about immigrants and the disabled.
Trump hit back over the remarks that he has “sacrificed nothing” for the country and mocked the soldiers mother for keeping silent, triggering a bipartisan backlash.
Hillary Clinton invited Khizr Khan to represent his family and honor his son, a University of Virginia grad who died serving as a Marine in Iraq.
Ghazala also spoke out in an ABC interview to respond to Trump and challenge the implications in his comments about about Islam and women.
But Khan shot back in interviews on U.S. television news shows, while his wife Ghazala explained in a Washington Post op-ed that she had been too grief-stricken to speak.
Trump’s response didn’t do much to convince anyone that he’s read the Constitution or made any actual sacrifices (See #TrumpSacrifices for reactions to his nonresponsive list of personal “sacrifices”). “I work very, very hard”. John Weaver, a strategist for Ohio Gov. John Kasich, tweeted: “Trump’s slur against Captain Khan’s mother is, even for him, beyond the pale”. “He has NO redeeming qualities”. If Donald Trump really wants to hear Ghazala Aunty say something he should listen up and watch this video (partial transcript of the parents’ comments shared below the video).

“If these were normal times, this would be a disqualifier for a presidential candidate, but these aren’t normal times”, Hooper said.
